Private Surf Lesson's
Suitable for all levels of surfer from beginner to advanced. 1 x 2 hour surf lesson, at a time to suit you (please select your start date and specify preferred times and dates on booking form). Includes all equipment, wetsuit, surfboard (boots, gloves, hood in winter). Minimum age for participants 5 years old, under 10's to be accompanied on the beach by an adult. All participants must be able to swim. These surf lessons can be tailored to your individual needs and lessons will involve beach theory and in water practice, with your own instructor.
A Private Surf Lesson Includes:
- Safety points about the beach, the waves and your kit
- How to warm up properly
- Equipment features
- How to negotiate through the surf safely
- Paddling and correct positioning
- Catching waves and timing
- Basic board control techniques
- Different techniques to get you standing
- Improver and advanced skills dependant on your level of surfing
- Plenty of in water friendly feedback to help you improve
Those taking part should:
- Be able to swim
- Be 7 years old or above, unless accompanied by an adult on their activities
- Notify us of any medical conditions that may affect your safety, or the safety of other water users
What to bring with you:
- A towel
- Swimwear for underneath your wetsuit
- £1 coin for the lockers
All of our activities are tide dependant. By selecting a private surf lesson you are booking 2 x 2 hour private surf session. Your start times will be confirmed upon receipt of your booking. All participants need to sign in 15 minutes before your activity starts. You will need to bring with you swimwear, a towel.
